We have an appointment with the anthropologist Frédéric Torrente in the Opunohu Valley, on the island of Moorea in Polynesia.

Facing a sacred place, he explains to us the traditional vision of the inhabitants of their environment, and how this precious knowledge finally takes on value in the eyes of often deprived scientists, faced with the rapidity of the destruction of ecosystems.
