British Prime Minister Boris Johnson began a two-day visit to India on Thursday April 21, where he is due to meet his counterpart Narendra Modi.

This trip intends to lead to new partnerships in the fields of defence, artificial intelligence and green energy, as well as investment agreements in several areas.
London recognizes that it still has a long way to go before it can conclude a post-Brexit trade agreement with the government of Narendra Modi.
