CNN publishes the article “What happens to the weapons sent to Ukraine?

The US doesn't really know."

From the material we learn:

• The Americans began to worry that some of the weapons they were supplying to Ukraine "may end up in the hands of other military and militias that the US had no intention of arming."

It's funny that they were not very worried when their weapons for the so-called moderate Syrian opposition or for the Kurds ended up with IS fighters *.

And now they do not write about the risks that the same Azov or other Nazi groups will receive their weapons, they are worried about the militias.

And yes, they used that very word - militias.

But until quite recently, the entire American press called them nothing more than "separatists."

• Americans do not trust Kyiv's information.

But they try to justify a lie.

“Every public statement is an information operation, every interview, every broadcast of Zelensky is an information operation,” said CNN, “a source familiar with Western intelligence.”

At the same time, an amazing detail is revealed: the West, it turns out, is well aware of the combat power of the Russian troops, the types of ammunition used and where they are used.

But when it comes to Ukrainian forces, officials acknowledge that the West, including the US, has some information gaps.

The authors could not clearly explain this paradox and limited themselves to quoting the source: “It is difficult to track when there is no one on earth.”

How, in doing so, they “tracked” information about Russian forces in the special operation zone remains a mystery.

In addition, without knowing the state of the Ukrainian troops, what types of weapons they use, etc., any statements by the White House about the tragedy in Kramatorsk or Bucha are political slogans.

They themselves admit that they do not have information “on the ground”.

For example, the story of the Switchblade UAV, the next batch of which will be delivered to Ukraine as part of Biden's $800 million assistance.

"I can't tell you where they are in Ukraine or if the Ukrainians are currently using them," a senior defense official told reporters last week.

“They don't tell us about every cartridge they release and who fires when.

We may never know for sure to what extent they used the Switchblade, ”write the authors of CNN.

Welcome to Ukraine, guys.

And finally, the Americans stopped hiding that Ukraine is a second Afghanistan for them, and the main purpose of the supplied weapons is against the Russians.

Jordan Cohen, a defense and foreign policy analyst at the Cato Institute, was puzzled by the question of where weapons supplied to Ukraine would end up after the war.

“For decades, the US has sent weapons to Afghanistan, first to arm the Mujahideen in their fight against the Soviet army, then to arm the Afghan forces in their fight against the Taliban**.

Inevitably, some weapons ended up on the black market, including Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, the same ones that the US is now providing to Ukraine, ”Cohen commented for CNN and summed up with a brilliant candid thought:

“More than 50 million rounds of ammunition - all this ammunition will be used not only to fight the Russians.

In the end, these munitions will be misused, whether intentionally or not.”

Ukraine is becoming a serious problem for the Biden team.

He is already losing the votes of American voters between the ages of 18 and 34.

It is becoming more and more difficult to clearly explain why Washington is helping Kiev, and the Ukrainian partners only complicate the task, substituting the curators with provocations, as was the case in Kramatorsk.

This does not mean that Washington is ready to "merge" Square as a geopolitical asset.

But it looks like the Americans are close to negotiating.

At least for the period of pre-election fuss, because even the most talented group of political technologists that the Democrats will hire to help Biden will hardly be able to wrap up what is happening in Ukraine with a big victory.
