The General Secretariat of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award revealed the winners of the "Instagram" competition for the months of January, February and March, whose themes were, respectively, "eyes", "on the road" and "doors".

The list of winners in the January competition witnessed an Iranian bilateral, through Babak Mahravsher and Muhammad Shafaei, in addition to the Omani Turki Ibrahim Ali Al-Junaibi, the Indian Shaji Madathakulangara Chandran, and the Pakistani Asim Ijaz.

The February edition confirmed the superiority of the Indian lens with a triple victory through Animesh Magi, Deepak Bay and Narayan Dwarkadas Patel, alongside the Egyptian Mohamed Naguib Nasr, and the Filipino Marwin Javier.

In the March competition, the Iranian duo attended through Reza Baradaran Esfahani and Majid Khalili Moghadam, along with Egyptian Iman Ismail Muhammad Ismail, Muhammad Hedaya Sarker (Bangladesh) and Animesh Magi (India).

For his part, the Secretary-General of the award, Ali Khalifa bin Thalith, said: “One of the strongest elements of the effect of the image on the person is the contact with the details of daily life, its small issues and its visual observations that pass by the blink of an eye to everyone, but the photographic skill takes pictures of these notes and sticks them to the wall of memory. The temporary works are then processed in innovative artistic and creative ways that reflect the photographer’s uniqueness and uniqueness.

These creative spaces presented to photographers in (Oyoun), (On the Road) and (Doors), are common everyday themes, but those who look at the winning images will understand the difference between what the eye sees and what the photographer sees.”

Bin Thalith added: “Our competitions are open to everyone and we continue to support promising talents from all over the world, and we are pleased with the continuity of the winners’ presence for the first time through (HEPA). We congratulate them and all the winners, and we advise the rest of the participants to continue to develop their skills and participate in the topics of our various competitions, and winning will be their ally. one day".

For his part, Omani Turki Al-Junaibi said about his winning photo in the “Oyoon” competition: “I took the photo in 2020 on the island of Masirah in the Sultanate of Oman, and what attracted me about that girl was the color of her distinctive eyes and her beautiful looks, so I felt as if her eyes were telling stories without words.”

As for the Egyptian, Mohamed Nasr, he explained that his winning photo in the “On the Road” competition was from the garden of the Islamic Museum in Doha, and the place of its capture was from the top of the roof of the tower facing Doha Corniche, noting that this was his second victory in the “HIPA” competitions on “Instagram”, as previously He won three years ago.
