5,300 people are now the "co-lords" of the castle of Boulogne-la-Grasse (Oise).

To become co-owners of this monument which survived the First World War, each invested 59 euros, reports

Le Parisien

.

The project was made possible by the start-up Dartagnans.

Since 2017, she has offered to invest small sums in castles to restore them.

The Boulogne-la-Grasse renovation project has generated contributions of 562,857 euros since December 2021.

A partially tax-deductible investment

This sum is intended for the collective purchase of the castle.

A second level set at 650,000 euros should make it possible to acquire and develop the three hectares of wood in the estate.

Five levels have been set.

It will eventually take more than a million euros for the total repair.

In return for this investment, the co-lords become shareholders of SAS Châteaux Merveilles, which will own the château 100%.

All will also benefit from free entry for life and will be able to take part in volunteer workcamps.

The investment is tax-exempt at 25%.
