(Fighting against New Coronary Pneumonia) "Invisible" Support Field: Zhejiang Base Tested Shanghai Samples Overnight

China News Agency, Hangzhou, April 19 (Zhang Yuhuan and Cui Qianxian) In order to support Shanghai in the detection of nucleic acid samples, since the end of March, Zhejiang has arranged for Huzhou, Jiaxing, Ningbo, and Shaoxing on the basis of building three gas membrane laboratories in Shanghai. , Jinhua, Quzhou and other city testing bases received nucleic acid samples from Shanghai.

At present, the nucleic acid testing base in Zhejiang Province receives about 200,000 tubes of nucleic acid samples (10 people) sent from Shanghai every day.

Huzhou City Testing Base is the largest among the above-mentioned urban testing bases.

Since March 28, Zhejiang has successively mobilized more than 300 nucleic acid testing personnel to undertake some nucleic acid sample testing tasks in Shanghai at the Huzhou City Testing Base, with a maximum daily testing volume of 110,000 tubes.

"It feels the same as marching and fighting. Although everyone comes from different places, the goal of fighting side by side is the same: to accurately test each sample and help Shanghai overcome difficulties together." Wu Yingping, the leader of the nucleic acid testing team of the Fourth Academy of Zhejiang University, accepted the China News Agency The reporter said in a telephone interview.

She introduced that it has become the norm for team members to leave in the middle of the night and work all night for the past few days.

On the first night they arrived at the Huzhou City Testing Base, they successfully completed the testing of 10,000 tubes.

"10,000 tubes is just a 'warm-up', because the base is running for the first time, I need to optimize the division of labor and the process of the team." Wu Yingping said that the next day, the team members from all over Zhejiang in the base have been assigned positions and have been running in within three days. Efficient tacit understanding.

Since the launch of large-scale nucleic acid testing in Shanghai, the six testing teams of the Huzhou City Testing Base have implemented three shifts.

"As long as the nucleic acid test specimens are out of Shanghai, we will enter the laboratory and start preparations." As the coordinator of the management base, Yu Fei, the leader of the nucleic acid test team of the First Hospital of Zhejiang University, explained to reporters on the phone that the Shanghai specimens are often already in Huzhou when they arrive in Huzhou. It was at night or even in the middle of the night, and then it was all night work, reagent configuration, sample nucleic acid extraction, sample amplification... until all tests were completed and reported.

Nucleic acid extraction requires direct contact with the sample, which is a dangerous and critical part. The team members need to manually unscrew the cap of each tube and draw the sample with a sample gun.

A team member at the sample-adding post has to add up to 20 samples in one night, more than 1,800 tubes.

"The outer packaging of the specimen should be sprayed with chlorine-containing disinfectant first, and the action should be light when pouring the sample. The N95 mask should be replaced immediately if it is loose, and the ultraviolet disinfection of the laboratory should be longer than 30 minutes..." In the testing base, such "nag" occurs every day. on stage.

The team leaders will also supervise the team members to self-test nucleic acid every day to ensure safety.

Yu Fei said that after each test, the team leader will immediately contact the team leaders to discuss and improve the difficulties and problems encountered in the testing process.

"I don't know how long it will take to 'fight' here, but we will operate the laboratory more efficiently and do our best to help Shanghai." Wu Yingping said.
