The national health authorities announced this Friday the recall of goat cheeses sold at the Orleans market (Loiret) from March 25 to April 5.

Products manufactured by SCEA Pinoterie are likely to have been contaminated with listeria.

Pyramids, logs and ashen cheeses are concerned, specifies the government press release.

However, the risk of contamination only affects "The batches of cheeses from March 22 to 23 which could not be analyzed and for which doubt remains as to contamination, the batches of cheeses marketed on March 25-26-27, 2022 and the batches of cheeses from April 1-2-3 and 4, 2022. Persons who have purchased these cheeses must immediately destroy them.

In case of fever, headache or body aches, it is also recommended to consult a doctor.

Listeriosis can be particularly dangerous for pregnant women and elderly or immunocompromised individuals.
