After 3:40 pm on the 18th, the Self-Defense Forces reported to the 7th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters that the shadow of the aircraft had disappeared from the radar in the northern part of the Ariake Sea.



As a result of searching by patrol boats and aircraft, three men were found in the Ariake Sea, about 10 km west of Miike Port in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and according to the Japan Coast Guard, one man in his 80s died. It was confirmed.
