In order to further consolidate the results of epidemic prevention and control, from April 16 to 21, Quanzhou continued to implement normalized nucleic acid testing for various types of personnel, and set up 426 convenient and free nucleic acid sampling points to provide services to the public.
According to Su Gengcong, deputy mayor of Quanzhou, 16 confirmed cases were discharged on April 17, and 29 asymptomatic infections were released from isolation; a total of 1,064 confirmed cases were discharged from hospital, and a total of 1,889 asymptomatic infections were released from isolation.
As of 21:00 on April 17, 43,080 close contacts in the city have been released from quarantine, and 27,903 people in sub-close contacts have been released from quarantine.
