The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has prepared all doors during the blessed month of Ramadan;

To receive the guests of the Most Merciful who came to perform the rituals of Umrah and prayer in this holy month.

The Director of the Doors Department at the Grand Mosque, Fahd bin Sharaz Al-Maliki, explained that the department has allocated 151 doors to serve the pilgrims, including 12 doors for pilgrims to enter, 68 doors for worshipers, 36 doors for emergencies, and 35 internal doors, and that since the beginning of Ramadan, the administration has drawn up plans and raised its readiness. To receive the pilgrims in the midst of a system of services in accordance with the planned procedures with the development of the approved requirements, and the number of employees participating in the Ramadan season for this year reached 600 employees who are qualified scientifically and practically.

And he indicated that one of the administration’s tasks is to guide the worshipers to the places of the chapels, and to support the security men in diverting and directing the worshipers when the chapels are full, in addition to achieving a smooth movement in entering and leaving the Grand Mosque, noting that there are doors equipped with light signals and guiding panels that illuminate in green when there are places It is vacant inside the Grand Mosque, and it lights up in red when the capacity is complete, and not to enter the Grand Mosque at the time when worshipers leave immediately after prayer, to avoid traffic jams and congestion.
