(Fighting against New Coronary Pneumonia) Guangxi opened its first high-speed rail train to transport 700 medical staff to Shanghai

  China News Service, Nanning, April 18 (Huang Yanmei and Mo Yujie) Guangxi Nanning East Railway Station launched the first high-speed train for the medical team in Shanghai on the 18th, transporting 700 medical personnel and a batch of medical supplies to Shanghai.

This is the third batch of medical teams sent by Guangxi to Shanghai.

  On the same day, the departure ceremony of the third batch of medical teams from Guangxi to Shanghai was held at Nanning East Railway Station. 700 medical team members went to Shanghai by train from Nanning, Laibin, Liuzhou and Guilin respectively.

The third batch of medical staff from Guangxi to Shanghai medical team came from 6 district-level medical and health institutions including Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People's Hospital, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Nanxishan Hospital, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Jiangbin Hospital, and Guangxi Liuzhou, Guilin, Yulin, Guigang, and guests. 35 county-level and municipal-level medical and health institutions in Qinzhou, Qinzhou and Hezhou are mainly composed of physicians and nurses specializing in internal medicine, clinical medicine, pediatrics, intensive medicine, hospital infection management, traditional Chinese medicine, nursing, and public health.

  On April 15 and April 17, Guangxi had dispatched 560 medical staff to support Shanghai's fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

So far, Guangxi has dispatched 3 batches of medical team members to Shanghai, totaling 1,260 people.

  China Railway Nanning Bureau Group Co., Ltd. immediately formulated a transportation organization plan, quickly assembled train crews, prepared 2 sets of EMUs, and arranged special trains for reconnection operation after receiving the demand of Guangxi's medical team stationed in Shanghai.

The station has opened up a green channel for entering the station, formulated an exclusive travel route for medical personnel, organized a commando team of party members to strengthen guidance, minimized cross-interference with passengers on other trains, and made travel more convenient for medical personnel.

  It is reported that this train is only used by medical staff in Shanghai. Nanning East, Laibin North, Liuzhou, and Guilin North Stations handle boarding and landing services for medical personnel, and passenger services are suspended at stations along the way to ensure the rapid delivery of medical personnel and epidemic prevention materials to Shanghai.

The special train runs for 12 hours and is expected to arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao Station at 21:00 that night.
