Debating scriptures is a unique way for Tibetan Buddhist monks to practice the Dharma.

On April 15th, the reporter saw at the Tibetan Buddhist Academy's sutra debate room that the monks were divided into several groups, one person in each group stood with the rosary hanging on the left arm to ask questions. The other monks on the side were answering, and the atmosphere was very warm.

It is reported that the main contents of the debates are mainly important works of Tibetan Buddhism, which are called "Five Great Treatises".

When debating scriptures, monks are not divided into young and old, but only to inspire and learn from each other.
