China News Service, Haikou, April 15th (Zhou Kehe) Every April 14th is World Dolphin Day. According to the Hainan Coast Guard Bureau on the 15th, on the 14th, many law enforcement ships of the Hainan Coast Guard Bureau patrolled and enforced the law on a daily basis. During the process, a large number of dolphin groups were found in many sea areas.

In the waters near Xishazhou, Sansha Xuande Islands, Hainan, during the patrol of the Sansha Coast Guard's law enforcement motorboats, a group of more than 10 dolphins escorted the front and both sides of the coast police law enforcement motorboats. Go out to sea, and sometimes shuttle and play.

"It was around 16:30 in the afternoon, and the dolphins seemed to be accompanying us on patrol. We were all very excited and happy to see them swimming happily," said Xie Gengyi, a law enforcement officer at the Sansha Coast Guard.

The same scene also occurred in the nearby waters of Xinying Port in Danzhou, Hainan and Tongguling in Wenchang. The coast guard ship found several groups of dolphins composed of dozens of dolphins swimming freely in the sea when performing daily patrol tasks in the waters under their jurisdiction. The scene is quite spectacular.

It is understood that most species of dolphins mainly inhabit the warm tropical waters and have high requirements for water quality in the waters.

In recent years, the Hainan Coast Guard, in conjunction with multiple departments, has continued to strengthen the comprehensive management of the sea area under its jurisdiction, and severely cracked down on illegal and criminal acts such as "electricity, poisoning, and fish bombing", stealing sea sand and destroying coral reefs, effectively protecting the marine ecological environment in the jurisdiction.

"'Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets'. For our coast guard, protecting the marine ecological environment means protecting the 'invaluable assets' for future generations. It is our bounden duty. We will continue to maintain a high-pressure maritime law enforcement posture. Let's work together to protect our beautiful and rich ancestral sea!" said Chen Si, a law enforcement officer at the Hainan Danzhou Coast Guard Bureau.
