According to Dmytro Kuleba, Russia hit several Ukrainian cities with missiles, including the capital kyiv, overnight from Thursday to Friday.

Ukraine's foreign minister dismisses view it's response to sinking of 'Moskva', Russia's flagship in Black Sea;

he points out that Russia does not need reasons since it has been waging war on Ukraine for weeks.

If Dmytro Kouleba refuses to formally confirm that the sinking of the "Moskva" was caused by a Ukrainian strike, he says that Ukraine is not afraid to hit targets that pose a threat.

He stresses that Vladimir Putin "must be defeated by all means - militarily, politically and economically".

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy also claims that the crimes committed by Russia in Mariupol are worse than those committed in Bucha and that Moscow hides the evidence of its crimes by using mobile crematoriums.

He admits such crimes complicate talks with Russia, saying current talks have made no progress, Vladimir Putin is now focused on a military solution and the future of the war will be decided on the battlefield not at the negotiating table.

Dmytro Kouleba explains that Ukraine's international partners, in particular the United States, are now delivering more and better weapons.

He particularly welcomes the delivery of artillery shells to NATO standards and urges the other countries of the Alliance to deliver sophisticated weapons.

Believing that "Germany can do much more" in this regard, he urges the German government to authorize the supply of heavy weapons to his country.

The diplomat welcomes France's decision to bring its embassy back to kyiv and also wants Paris to deliver more weapons.

France gave him the impression that it would be in favor of an oil embargo against Russia at the level of the European Union, he also assures.

For him, the policy of certain European countries considering before the war that it was crucial to continue to speak to Vladimir Putin failed.

"We ask Berlin and Paris to reconsider this policy. It is time to take a firm stand against Putin. Now is not the time to try to please him. It is time to change the French approach to Russia ."
