Due to the problem that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism was improperly processing the data of "Core Statistics", the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism will revise the statistics results as far back as 9 years ago, in line with the interim report of the Council of Experts. I did.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has continued inappropriate processing such as double counting of data regarding the "construction work order dynamics statistics", which is the core statistics that show the monthly order trends of the construction industry. On the 15th, a meeting made up of experts compiled an interim report.

In this, it was requested to reproduce the method that should have been done and to revise the results of the past statistics as soon as possible, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism had the effect of double counting according to the contents of the report. It will be revised as far back as April 2013, nine years ago.

However, since it includes the period when the data recorded on paper does not remain, it is necessary to establish an estimation method, and there is no prospect of actually completing the revision work.

At the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, another meeting of experts is studying to prevent recurrence, and the issue is whether or not effective measures can be taken to restore trust.
