Bartleby

, a little short story written by Herman Melville, author of

Moby-Dick

, tells the story of a strange and singular office worker who gradually gives up all activity in a kind of passive resistance to the world of work.

Rodolphe Dana adapted the short story on the stage of the Gérard Philippe Theater in Saint-Denis, himself taking on the role of the boss opposite his employee Bartleby played by Adrien Guiraud.

A joyful duo that takes us into a nightmarish atmosphere to the comical.
