China-Singapore Entertainment, Beijing, April 16 (Reporter Shangguan Yun) Recently, a Chinese version of the musical "Born A Couple" that is still being rehearsed has attracted a lot of attention.

The director of the play is Liu Tianchi.

This musical tells the story of twin girls who grew up in different environments due to the divorce of their parents, and reunited their families with clever tricks.

It was first born out of the children's literature "Two Little Lottes", and the whole text is full of comedy.

Recently, Liu Tianchi was interviewed by a reporter from China-Singapore Entertainment in Beijing.

She is a well-known actress, and her roles in film and television dramas such as "Six Groups of Serious Cases" and "Alive" have left a deep impression on the audience.

"For a good actor, I think the biggest skill is that too real is not art, too fake is not drama." Talking about her acting experience, she believes that actors should shuttle between self-forgetfulness and self-preservation to nurture a role.

As for the director of this "crossover", Liu Tianchi said that he may have a heavier psychological burden.

As a director, there will be more responsibilities. "I especially don't want to be strict with people, but sometimes the director must be like this. In order to leave no regrets in the end of the work."

The following is a summary of the interview:

Sino-Singapore Entertainment: What are the highlights of the Chinese version of the musical "Born A Couple"?

Liu Tianchi:

One of the biggest differences in the Chinese version of "Born A Pair" is that it uses a story line after staggering identities to interpret the thinking about family.

This is what I most want to inject into it, and I want it to be as close as possible to what I have in mind for a musical.

Now the three words "musical" are not unfamiliar.

Many well-known musicals, such as "Cat" and "The Phantom of the Opera", are supported by rigorous technical content behind their charm.

You don't just need to be able to sing and dance, and you can do a musical well.

We have to follow the creative logic behind musicals, it is an art in the process of exploration.

Zhongxin Entertainment: What standards did you follow to direct this musical?

Liu Tianchi:

"Meet your best self" is my most important directing criterion.

There are two desires here, one is the direction of emotion: Can the family really achieve perfection forever?

I don't think it's possible.

But it is precisely because we all yearn for perfection that we expect to see the content of perfection presented.

Another is that in a fast-paced society, each of us is a bit disrupted by the fragmented world, and sometimes we can't see ourselves fully.

We expect life to be full and at the same time to meet the best of ourselves.

This is my creative impulse.

In addition, in order to suit today's family atmosphere, the lines of "Born A Couple" have also been changed a lot, including character relationships, handling things, etc., which will be more childish.

Zhongxin Entertainment: During the rehearsal of the musical, how did you get along with the actors?

Liu Tianchi:

First of all, I have an advantage, that is, being a teacher before, it is easier to get along with young actors.

At the same time, they can also pay attention to the small changes in their psychological, emotional and physical.

I am also an actor, and I know that the creative process of an actor is a process of transformation, and this transformation is difficult.

As a director, it may be necessary to "pay equal attention to both kindness and prestige", timely dispatch the emotions of the actors, and create a non-serious creative atmosphere, but the underlying logic still has to follow strict creative rules. ".

Zhongxin Entertainment: Your character has left a deep impression on the audience.

As an actor, how do you hone your acting skills?

Liu Tianchi:

When I was in school, my teacher often said, why do actors have to go through arduous training?

Because in life, people are easily manipulated by emotions, but an actor must be a master at manipulating emotions on stage.

This requires training.

How is it possible for an ordinary person to ask him to show all sorts of emotions at once?

It requires a lot of training. For good actors, I think the biggest skill is that too real is not art, too fake is not drama.

The (story) you perform on stage, that's not your life, that's the author's life, your task is to make the audience feel that person through your own interpretation, not let them see you.

Actors have to shuttle between self-forgetfulness and self-preservation to breed a character.

So it will be more difficult.

Zhongxin Entertainment: How do you view the relationship between actor talent and performance skills training?

Liu Tianchi:

To be an actor, you will have certain requirements in terms of appearance.

Then there is their natural ability to feel, and insight into life.

With these abilities, you are bound to have your own attitude towards life.

These are recognized as talents.

But in addition to talent, what is more tested is the actor's ability to understand, analyze, and think and speculate when facing the world.

This is cultivated over time, and it is precisely the most important part of the soul of an actor.

As for how to develop body coordination and language expression in the future, that is at the technical level.
