A former Jordanian MP commits suicide near his parents' graves

Today, Friday, a former Jordanian deputy shot himself, which led to his death on the spot.

The former MP, Dr. Mutasim Al-Awamleh, committed suicide in Umm Al-Hiran cemetery, east of the capital, Amman, near the graves of his father and mother.

Al-Awamleh was born in 1957 and holds a Master’s degree in Health Institutions Administration/Community Medicine, and previously held the position of Director General of Planning and Manpower Development in the Ministry of Health.


The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lawyer Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi, and members of the House mourned the former MP, Dr. Mutassim Al-Awamleh, who passed away to his mercy this Friday morning.


Al-Daghmi recalled the path and virtues of the deceased and his good path during his participation in the sixteenth council.
