In its annual budget voted on April 8, the Department of Hauts-de-Seine has planned to devote 20 million euros to improving the living conditions of the elderly.
The community intends to use this sum to initiate a renovation program for nursing homes and other residences for seniors.

Modernization of establishments
The main objective will be to modernize establishments and offer the elderly a better quality welcome.
It was in an Ehpad in the Hauts-de-Seine that events took place which led to the scandal of the manager of retirement homes Orpea.
The Department insisted on recalling the importance of being “committed to social action”.
In addition to the envelope financing the renovations, the community has also released 69.3 million euros to allow seniors to continue to live in their homes.
This budget will allow in particular the proper functioning of the interdepartmental autonomy agency Yvelines-Hauts-de-Seine, which has been allocated 6.9 million euros.
