Among the more than 47 million people registered in Spain, we have found the only one whose electricity bill

has apparently not risen

.

His name is

Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón

, the father of a family, he lives in Madrid -specifically, in the Moncloa Palace- and for almost four years he has been President of the Government, although to do so he had to throw himself into the arms of the anti-system left and of independence.

We assume that is why he celebrates the current status of the

energy bill with such euphoria.

ethical

, while our country returns to the European podium of

the most expensive electricity

and the INE confirmed this Wednesday that the

prices

registered in March the biggest rise since 1985, with a

inflation

9.8%.

Our lucky president, who boasts on his resume of being

PhD in Economics

-with an outstanding suspect

cum laude

in question-, ensures that in our country the same is paid for electricity as in 2018 and boasts that it has "fulfilled" the commitment it made that in 2021 the average bill in Spain would be similar to that of 2018 discounting the inflation.

The difficulties of citizens to deal with the tariff must be a pure invention of the opposition.

It is time for Sánchez to stop lying to the Spaniards, especially with such a sensitive issue that pierces the pockets of the most vulnerable so much.

The data released this Wednesday by

Eurostat

and that the sanchismo manipulates at will what they reveal is that Spain climbed in 2021 among the European countries with the most expensive electricity to be in third place, only behind Ireland and Belgium.

We have increased nine positions in a year, almost nothing.

Regarding the average price paid in the Eurozone, today

our light is 16% more expensive

.

And, without going any further, electricity has risen 107.8% in March.

That's the truth.

And for this reason the government's triumphalism is especially offensive.

Even if it were only out of modesty, there are no reasons in Moncloa to brag about prices or to advertise with the supposed fulfillment of the word given.

Data is not missing.

The price of electricity has doubled in a year and the CPI reaches unprecedented levels in the last 37.

Families and the self-employed are suffocated

.

More than 10 million households have seen their electricity bill skyrocket in 2021, while the debt of companies and households increased by 1.4%.

In the first quarter of 2022, 9,700 small businesses disappeared compared to 5,200 created in the same period a year ago.

Banks have been tightening the conditions for granting credit for months in the face of the risk of default.

And the savings capacity of Spaniards is likely to fall by half due to the impact of inflation.

Sánchez cannot continue to mask reality or boast of commitments that he cannot fulfill.

He will be the only Spaniard whose electricity bill does not rise.

But he is the head of the Government and what he must do is exercise his responsibility to alleviate the suffocation of the other Spaniards, who do know what it costs today to press a switch.
