Doubts End of indoor masks: how, when and where will we use them from April 20
The Ministry of Health of the Generalitat of Catalonia will publish the night of Monday 19 to Tuesday 20 in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat of Catalonia (Dogc) the resolution to

In a statement this Thursday, the Ministry has reported that "it is finalizing" said resolution and that it will be published the night of Monday to Tuesday because the previous days correspond to the Easter holidays.
The Minister of Health, Josep Maria Argimon, announced his willingness to
lift the use of the mask in classrooms a day before the withdrawal of the measure in most contexts in Spain
because he does not see "any sense" in doing so a day later back to school after the Easter holidays.
The spokeswoman for the Catalan Government, Patrícia Plaja, announced on Tuesday that the Generalitat was going to publish a resolution this Thursday by which it will not be necessary for Primary and Secondary students of educational centers in Catalonia to wear a mask in the classroom from next Tuesday .
At a press conference after the Executive Council of the Generalitat, Plaja recalled that the central government plans to lift the obligation to wear a mask indoors for all citizens on Wednesday: "What the Government does is
advance the decree one day with a resolution" in the case of schools
.
He considered that "it makes little sense" to force students to wear a mask in the classroom on Tuesday, coinciding with the return after the Easter holidays, so that they can stop wearing it on Wednesday, and assured that the resolution will be endorsed by the services legal.
He stressed that the Government's decisions on the pandemic have been taken in coordination with the central government so that the criteria were clear and unified, and "this case is no exception", because
the decision of the Pedro Sánchez Executive only advances one day in the case of schools

"Logic says that, if classes start on Tuesday and a new stage begins, boys and girls can start now" without a mask after the vacation period, Plaja stressed, insisting that it is a decision of common sense.

a letter was sent to educational centers on Friday to inform them
of the decision to lift the obligation to wear a mask from Tuesday - the Minister of Health, Josep Maria Argimon, had advanced it on Thursday.
Asked by the media, she stressed that this measure only affects educational centers and that
citizens must continue to wear the mask in all other cases
, since this "exception" is limited to Primary and Secondary students.
Plaja highlighted the importance of respecting whoever decides to continue wearing the mask: "It is important to do a lot of pedagogy that we are entering a new stage" in which there will be a period of adaptation in which citizens will have to get used to the new measures in the face of the pandemic .
In an interview with EFE, the leader of the PSC, Salvador Illa, has charged against the Minister of Health, Josep Maria Argimon, for advancing the end of the masks in schools 24 hours, a measure in his opinion "facing the gallery ", which does not have a "solid legal basis" and that "breaks the unity" between autonomies.
