[Editor Jeon Min-jae] Group SES member Suga wrote a letter of promise once again reflecting on his past habitual gambling.

Today (14th), Shu uploaded a post of "#gambling problem prevention campaign #learning #reflection #hope" on his Instagram along with a photo of his visit to the Korean Gambling Problem Management Center.

Shu began the post by saying, "I felt deeply that I could ruin my life as well as the lives of my family and those around me by falling into gambling. I sincerely apologize to many people once again."

He said, "After the recent TV Chosun 'Star Documentary My Way' broadcast, I carefully read each and every one of your comments. I sincerely thank those who believe in me and support me. "I admit that it is a clear mistake of gambling, not the other way around. I bow my head and apologize. It is my fault without any excuses."

Shu then said that he has a responsibility to reflect and apologize for the rest of his life to those who may have felt hurt and angry because of his mistake.

Also, referring to the Korea Gambling Management Center, which he visited during the filming of 'Star Documentary My Way', he said, "If there is a campaign related to gambling problems, I will run to anywhere and take the initiative to inform you about the dangers and seriousness of gambling."

Shu said, "Yesterday (13th), I visited the Korea Gambling Management Center again to discuss what we can do to help prevent gambling problems." He said he would do his best in the future.

He added, "It seems to be the right way to take responsibility for past wrongdoings, rather than hide it, to come forward and take action to eradicate and prevent gambling." I bow my head and once again offer an apology and thanks. Thank you.”

From August 2016 to May 2018, Shu was accused of habitual gambling with a total of 790 million won on 26 overseas occasions, including Macau, and was sentenced to 6 months in prison and 2 years of probation.

After four years of self-reflection, on the 10th, TV Chosun's 'Star Documentary My Way' revealed his current situation.

In the broadcast that day, he said, "It was very difficult to just breathe. I didn't want to hear the sound of breathing. Because I hated it so much," he said at the time.
