Control of a large fire in Cairo

A large fire broke out in one of the streets of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, which almost caused a major disaster, except that the civil defense personnel were able to control it.

The "Cairo 24" website stated that the fire broke out in the vicinity of Al-Ahly Club branch in Nasr City.

The official of the emergency operations room in Cairo received a notification of the outbreak of the fire, so that the civil protection forces rushed immediately with four fire engines.

The firefighting teams succeeded in trapping the fire and preventing its spread to neighboring places, and the fire was brought under control without any casualties.

The initial inspection of the location of the fire revealed that the cause of the fire was an explosion in one of the gas lines in one of the streets near the club.
