"Accomplices"

In the center of the plot of the dramatic thriller "Accomplices" is a ten-year-old village boy Ilya.

His father is killed, but the perpetrator remains at large.

The people around do nothing to restore justice, so Ilya himself decides to find the killer and take revenge.

According to director Yevgeny Grigoriev, the film is based on real events from his life.

The director emphasizes that "a person anywhere in the world can find himself in a dead end in life, faced with injustice, resentment, revenge - everything that can break his life."

The myths associated with the Ural peoples are of great importance for the plot.

“Even at the initial stage of my work, it became obvious to me that the issues of mercy and justice are beyond time and space.

This story is unfolding today, but it always happens.

Therefore, we began to look for some cultural grounds, ”said the director in an interview with the ProfiCinema portal.

The central roles were played by Pavel Derevyanko, Yura Borisov and Liza Yankovskaya.

Ilya was played by Yaroslav Mogilnikov, who had not previously acted in films.

"Welcome to family"

Vladimir Zinkevich's crime comedy "Welcome to the Family" offers viewers a new, modern look at Shakespeare's classic tragedy "Romeo and Juliet".

According to the plot, the son of an honest prosecutor (Svetlana Kamynina) Sasha (Vyacheslav Morozov) falls in love with Mira (Kristina Stroiteleva).

She reciprocates, but it turns out that her father is a businessman and a thief in law (Vladimir Sychev).

Parents are against the relationship of lovers, but they are ready to fight for their feelings to the last.

“It seems to me that we got a very funny movie, old-fashioned, lamp-like, as they say now.

This is a kind, bright, positive picture,” says Vladimir Zinkevich.

He also noted that Welcome to the Family is a film about trusting your children."

“Moreover, trust more than we do now.

We must listen to them, not indulging, but helping and protecting, ”says the director.

One of the roles in the film was played by Pyotr Buslov.

Previously, he collaborated with Sychev on the set of the popular tape "Boomer".

"Reversible Reality"

In the near future, people will get the opportunity to realize any dream virtually - in a program invented by the New Life company.

It is there that they experience the widest range of emotions.

One day, the bright adventures of users are replaced by their revived fears.

Virtual police officer Mikhail (Pavel Chinarev) begins an investigation, during which he gradually ceases to distinguish reality from the program.

As director Dmitry Konstantinov (The City, The Sinner) noted, the fantastic component in the film is "it's just a form."

“First of all, the characters, their development, their relationships are always interesting.

Therefore, for me, this picture is, first of all, a story about people, even if they live in a fantasy world.

We want to tell it in an exciting and entertaining format, so that the viewer who comes to watch the film has an interesting time, enjoying watching the characters, but, leaving the cinema, thinks about what is really important to him, ”says the director.

Filming took place in Moscow.

Especially for filmmakers, futuristic scenery was built.

"Sundown" (Sundown)

The main roles in the drama of the Mexican director Michel Franco were performed by Tim Roth and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

Their heroes, along with their young relatives, go on vacation to Acapulco.

The peace of tourists is disturbed by an unexpected incident.

As Franco noted, it is no coincidence that the film takes place in Acapulco - the filmmaker sought to explore the city he knew from childhood, which eventually turns into the epicenter of violence.

Attention is also paid to the study of family relationships in the film, and the sun has become an important element of "Sunset" - according to the director, it reflects the emotional state of the characters, as well as the violence surrounding them.

In 2021, the film was presented in the main competition of the Venice Film Festival and received high marks from critics - its freshness rating on the Rotten Tomatoes portal is 75%.
