Life Syndrome is a dramatic story with satirical elements.

The picture became the first full-length directorial work of Maria Shalaeva, known for her roles in the films “About Love” and “Mermaid”.

The project was filmed on a cell phone camera.

“Thanks to this film, mobile cinema was able to demonstrate its unique artistic capabilities not only in the predictable genres of horror or social drama, but also in the comedy melodrama format so loved by all viewers,” says producer Maxim Mussel.

In the center of the plot is the widow Elizaveta Petrovna, who has just buried her husband.

She sorts through his things and finds a letter from which she learns about the affair of the missus with another woman and the existence of his child born out of wedlock.

The heroine is trying to tell her daughter and granddaughter about this, but they, busy with their own affairs, do not show interest in the discovery.

Over time, members of the same family still find common ground.

“There are probably two topics for me here - life can be in full swing at any age, and I really want it not to outlive you, but you to live it fully, meaningfully, helping, creating, loving, accepting, experiencing!

And the second topic is the family, the relationship of the closest people, ”said Maria Shalaeva.

Svetlana Nemolyaeva, who celebrates her 85th birthday on April 18, played the main role.

In her opinion, the story presented in the film is realistic, and the director "managed to convey real feelings, pain and suffering."
