The Grand Mufti of Egypt responds to those who weaken the hadith of “the best soldiers on earth”
The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawky Allam, revealed a position with a retired general after the June 30 revolution.
Shawky Allam said, during his daily Ramadan meeting on the program “Makarim Al Ethics in the House of Prophecy” with the journalist Hamdi Rizk, broadcast on “Echo Al-Balad” channel, today, Monday, that the retired general came to the Egyptian Ifta House and was proud of the prophetic hadith: “If God opens Egypt is upon you, so take in it a dense army, for that army is the best of the hosts on earth.” However, he was shocked when he learned that some of those who are affiliated with knowledge say that it is a weak hadith.
The Mufti of the Republic added that he assured the general that the hadith is true, adding that he asked him to leave it to study the hadith in a scientific study that examines the situation.
Dr. Shawky Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, continued: “A 36-page statement was issued confirming the authenticity of the hadith,” noting that those who weaken the hadith came from positions only that are not based on a scientific method, “tentious claims.”
