In Donetsk, when we discussed the behavior of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the national battalions in Mariupol, the militias recognized their high resilience: doomed to defeat, they surrender to captivity much more slowly than we would like.
The grouping was, as they claimed, up to 10 thousand (figures were even given of 14 thousand people).
And I had to crush it all.
At the moment, 3 thousand have remained. And only about 500 have surrendered for all the time. That is, they lost at least two-thirds of the personnel, but still resisted.
Unprecedented performance.
And then came a very important explanation for everything that was happening.
A Ukrainian prisoner reported yesterday that there were up to 200 or even more mercenaries and specialists in Mariupol.
Wow what.
There are not five or 50 of them. They are up to a battalion in total.
There are probably many officers among them.
A lot of military, empowered and highly aware.
In Mariupol, in principle, they could not give up!
They were too bound by this circumstance.
Mercenaries cannot be taken prisoner.
Firstly, this is the most powerful way of Russia's information and negotiation influence on those countries that the mercenaries represent.
Anatoly Shariy guessed correctly: if the French are there, this may even affect the outcome of the elections in France.
Imagine, what if there are, say, 50 French people there.
Or 100?!
And they will all fall out in the second round!
With names, surnames and direct orders from the French leadership!

Usually the national battalions hold the Armed Forces together.
And here is a double leaven: the mercenaries held everyone together.

It is clear that the information war against us would go anyway.
But this is also an explanation for the absurdity of the campaign, crookedly organized in Bucha: Zelensky was rushed!
It is necessary to see which journalists from which countries were represented especially widely and then raged harder than the rest.
And later check the result with the nationality of the mercenaries.
And the price of the freedom of the European press will become completely transparent.
