All forms of sweets, soft drinks and other types of food that were previously acceptable no longer apply.
This is because sales at the cinemas are part of our business, says Caroline Hellström, press officer at Filmstaden, to Folkbladet.
The decision was made a week ago and means that visitors are not allowed to bring sweets, soft drinks, chips and popcorn from outside.
Instead, all refreshments should be bought directly by the staff at the cinema.
The information is available on Filmstaden's website, in the "questions and answers" section.
It reads:
“Filmstaden does not allow you to bring your own drinks, food, snacks, sweets, popcorn, etc. into the cinema.
We have a large selection of drinks, food, snacks, popcorn and sweets in our stores, so that everyone can find something that suits them. ”
According to press officer Caroline Hellström, they have not yet had time to inform all visitors.
