Over the past year, the number of cases filed by public security organs has dropped by 18.7% year-on-year, and has maintained a year-on-year decline for nine consecutive months since June last year.

  Since April last year, public security organs across the country have carried out in-depth special operations such as the "Yunjian-2021" campaign to crack down on telecommunication and network fraud and crimes. The year-on-year increases were 28.5% and 76.6% respectively, hitting a record high.

  Party committees and governments at all levels have strengthened their territorial responsibilities, included governance work as an important part of safety construction, and further promoted education and persuasion to return. Significant progress has been made in management, control and rectification.

Industry supervision and management have played an important role. The special rectification of the information network industry has been incorporated into the normalized fight against gangsters and evil. The “Card Breaking Action 2.0” has been upgraded and launched to clean up fraudulent phone cards and industry cards. The outstanding problems of fraud in the industry have effectively blocked a number of regulatory loopholes and squeezed the space for criminal activities.

  In addition, according to reports, China has accelerated its special legislative work. The draft anti-telecommunications network fraud law has passed the preliminary review of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and multiple departments have jointly issued relevant legal guidance to increase the punishment of telecommunications network fraud and related crimes. , All-round crackdown and punishment of telecommunications network fraud and crimes provided a strong support.
