Imagine a fetus in its mother's womb: this body is its home.

This refuge must have solid foundations to support the baby's growth from the very first moments of the baby's life.

The mother must take care of herself, of her diet in order to be able to give her baby everything he needs to develop, until he is at least two years old.

From the cell to the 2-year-old child who will have reached half of his growth by this age, there are 1,000 days and these are the most crucial days of life, during which the foundations are laid.

RECIPE

Ginger tapenade by chef Harouna SOW, to be found in podcast on “Recipe de poche” on rfi.fr

Tapenade is a spread or mix with rice as a condiment.

This ginger-based recipe will give you ideas to change juices, and fill up on vitamins!

90 g grated ginger without skin

4 bell peppers (preferably green)

2 cloves garlic

Salt pepper

2 tbsp oil.

* Fry the peppers to remove the skin more easily.

* Remove the seeds, mix and cook the peppers for 30 minutes in a pan in 2 tbsp of oil.

* Add the ginger in the last minutes of cooking.

* Mix everything, put in the fridge for half an hour and enjoy on a slice of bread or with a cowpea donut!
