According to the forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory, from the 10th to the 14th, a strong cold air will affect most parts of China from west to east, bringing obvious strong winds, cooling and large-scale rain and snow. Northeast to Huanghuai, Jianghuai, southwest, Jiangnan and other places will be affected, and some areas will experience strong convective weather such as dust and short-term heavy precipitation.

From the 10th to the 13th, from Xinjiang to the northwest, from the central and eastern Inner Mongolia to northern Hebei, northeastern Jilin, northern and eastern Heilongjiang, there were light to moderate snow or sleet.

Most of the eastern part has light to moderate rain. Among them, there are heavy rains and local heavy rains in parts of northwestern Yunnan, eastern Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangsu and other places.

There are thunderstorms in southeastern Gansu, southern Shaanxi, southern Hebei, southern Liaoning, Henan, Shandong and most of the south, and some areas have strong convective weather such as short-term heavy precipitation, local thunderstorms and strong winds.

In terms of temperature, the average temperature in Xinjiang, Northwest China, North China, Northeast China, Huanghuai and most of the south will drop by 6 to 10 °C, and the temperature drop in some parts of Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Jilin and other places can reach 12 to 16 °C. In addition to cooling and precipitation, the cold air will also bring windy sand and dust weather. From the 10th to the 11th, the sand and dust brought by the cold air will affect eastern Xinjiang and the southern Xinjiang Basin, central and western Inner Mongolia, central and northern Ningxia, northern Qinghai, Northern Shaanxi and other places.

Fu Jiaolan, chief forecaster of the Central Meteorological Observatory, said that the weather process brought by the cold air is complex and has a wide range of influences, and it is necessary to focus on and take targeted preventive measures.

At present, China's spring agricultural production has entered a critical period, and it is necessary to pay attention to preventing strong winds and low temperature freezing damage.

Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Henan and other places have relatively obvious cooling rates, and the public is advised to take measures to prevent cold and keep warm.

Strong winds and sand and dust will adversely affect forest fire risks in Northwest China, Inner Mongolia and other places, and targeted prevention is required.
