Last year, an ultra-premature baby who was less than 28 weeks old and weighed 940 grams in Lijiang, Yunnan was in critical condition, and local doctors suggested giving up treatment.

Parents of ultra-premature babies took their children to Chongqing for medical treatment.

On April 8, the reporter learned from the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University that the ultra-preterm infant has been successfully treated and will be discharged soon.

The child's mother told reporters that when the doctor advised the parents to give up treatment, she left the hospital with the child in her arms, but the child's small hand suddenly grabbed her finger.

From that moment on, they decided not to give up.

The child who was only half a month old was kept on a ventilator in the local hospital, and the situation of pulmonary hemorrhage was repeated.

In November last year, the Neonatology Department of the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University contacted the mother of the child after learning the news, and opened a green channel for the child to be transferred.

The Children's Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University convened experts from the departments of ophthalmology, respiratory, infectious diseases, nutrition, pharmacy, gastroenterology, thoracic surgery, radiology and other departments to conduct consultations and customize personalized diagnosis and treatment plans for children.

In the end, the ultra-premature baby was successfully treated.
