Recently, the staff of Lushan National Nature Reserve in Jiangxi Province accidentally discovered clear moving images of leopard cat, a national second-level key protected wild animal, while sorting out the image data captured by the field infrared camera.

Infrared camera video shows an ocelot appearing in front of the camera, sometimes taking a leisurely walk, and sometimes looking around alertly.

Although photographed at night, the markings on the animal are still clearly visible.

Professionals identified the animal as an adult leopard cat.

The leopard cat is a feline animal with a slender and slender body. It mainly inhabits mountain forest areas, suburban bushes and near forest edge villages. It is nocturnal and has more activities in the morning and evening.
