Egypt: No pilgrimage at the expense of the "endowments" in application of the jurisprudence of priorities

In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments said that in the context of its implementation of the principle of jurisprudence of priorities, Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, decided that there is no pilgrimage at the expense of endowments.

And the statement said: “From the mercy of God (Almighty and Majestic) upon His servants, that He made Hajj based on physical and financial ability, so whoever is unable to perform Hajj if his money is above his strength and the sustenance of his dependents, there is no objection to him at all, because God (Almighty) says: (No God burdens a soul beyond its capacity.”

The statement continued, "Filling the needs of the needy is a thousand and one times first and greater in reward and higher reward than repeating Hajj and Umrah. The first is an in-kind or sufficiency duty, and the other is supererogatory. Undoubtedly, the obligation in kind or sufficiency is provided by Sharia, jurisprudence and humanity over all other supererogatory and volunteer offerings."

The statement added: “If a person is looking for forgiveness for the previous sins, the matter is very wide, so whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and anticipation will be forgiven his previous sins, and whoever performs Ramadan with faith and anticipation will be forgiven for his previous sins, and whoever performs the Night of Decree with faith and anticipation will be forgiven. He was forgiven for his previous sins, so the door of forgiveness is very wide, and a man entered Paradise because he found a dog panting from extreme thirst, so he gave him drink, so God forgave him, so he entered Paradise, and the last of Paradise entered into a tree branch that was harming people on their way, so he avoided him from the road, so he entered Paradise.
