If Mr. Sanchez has refuted any idea of a "turn
on this issue, he alienated his left-wing allies and the right-wing opposition, but also the Polisario and Algiers, Spain's gas supplier.
Among the "areas of common interest
between Rabat and Madrid, include the "reactivation
» cooperation on migration and the delimitation of maritime areas on the Atlantic seaboard.
For the journalist and writer Ignacio Cembrero, “
the Spanish government closed a crisis with Morocco and opened another with Algeria
”.
