Indian man returns home the day after his burial

A strange incident in an Indian village topped social media platforms and local newspapers, as a man from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu returned to his home the day after his funeral, and buried him.

The local Kaumudi website reported that 55-year-old worker Murti went to Tirupur to harvest sugar cane.

For several days, his family was unable to contact him, but a relative of the man soon reported that he had been found dead near the bus station.

Morti's son came to the place and got to know his father.

The police handed over the body to the family who buried the deceased.

However, the worker returned home the next day.

'We couldn't believe our eyes when he entered the house,' said one of Morty's relatives.

We were all in shock.” The police launched an investigation to find out the true identity of the buried man.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first case of its kind in India, and according to “sputnikn”, in November 2020, a man returned to his home days after his family allegedly cremated his body.

The body of a 75-year-old patient who died of the Corona virus was handed over to his relatives, but because it was in a plastic bag, the family members were unable to see his face.

The man's body was cremated, and a few days later the family received a call from the hospital asking them to take a relative who had fully recovered.
