China News Service, April 7. According to the Hong Kong Commercial Daily, at about 12:00 noon today (7th), hikers found a python in an aqueduct in Furong Mountain, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. Calling the police for help, the police arrived at the scene to find the snake, and summoned the "snake king" to the scene to capture it, and then hand it over to a veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment.

Li surnamed "Snake King", who was in charge of removing the python, said that the python found this time was a Burmese python, a large snake in Hong Kong and a protected animal.

It is about 3 meters long and has reached adult size, so its age is difficult to estimate, and it is believed to be about 6 to 10 years old.

When the python was found, the head was injured, there were burst wounds, and there was bleeding in the eyes. One of the eyes was blind, and the mouth was red and swollen.

The python may have been deliberately attacked, or bitten by a wild dog or boar.

The python seen at the scene should have been injured for more than a day, and it is believed to have been more than a week.

Mr Li said pythons mainly feed on small to medium-sized mammals, such as small and medium-sized wild boars.

Now is the season of pythons. Since the weather is warm, snakes are crawling animals, and the ground temperature is getting warmer before they start to prey and digest.

They especially like to eat larger animals. Take the injured python as an example. It is estimated that they can swallow a medium-sized wild boar. Later, the python will be sent to Kadoorie Farm for veterinary treatment.
