Shiga Prefecture announced on the 6th that it was confirmed that 451 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
Two men in their 60s and 70s were also confirmed dead.
As a result, 71,789 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture, and 196 people have died.
There is only one seriously ill person as of the 6th.
