Investigation opened after a "serious incident" on a New York-Paris flight

“Tuesday morning, an Air France Boeing 777 from JFK airport in New York had to go around in a hurry as it was preparing to land at Roissy, the BEA said on Wednesday, the office investigation and analysis for safety in civil aviation.

A "serious incident" investigation was opened in the evening and the plane was immobilized while the data from the black boxes was extracted, the organization said.

There were no casualties and the plane was able to land safely a few moments later.
