To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus at the university where the new semester has begun, the university in Tottori City has begun testing all students.

At Tottori University of Environmental Studies in Tottori City, guidance for each faculty and grade began on the 5th, before face-to-face classes began on the 11th of this month.

At the university, as part of the guidance, an antigen test will be conducted on about 1,200 students from the 5th to prevent the spread of infection by gathering students from outside the prefecture and new students from outside the prefecture during spring break. I am.

In the lecture room, which was the venue for the examination, students watched a video explaining the examination procedure displayed on a large screen, and a nurse taught them to perform the examination, and the results were obtained in about 15 minutes. I submitted it to the staff of the inspection agency.

In order to prevent the spread of infection, Tottori Prefecture subsidizes the cost of antigen testing for students by universities that have entered the new semester, and both universities and students can carry out testing at no cost.

A second-year male student who was returning to Kyoto during spring break said, "I'm glad I was given a free inspection so that I could resume face-to-face lessons without anxiety."

Michio Yoshida, Chief of Academic Affairs, Tottori University of Environmental Studies, said, "I think the examination is very meaningful because it will help students to lead a university life with peace of mind in the future."
