The third part of the scientific trilogy of UN climate experts (IPCC) was published on Monday April 4, 2022. It is in line with the two previous ones: without a “radical and most often immediate” reduction in emissions of greenhouse gases in all sectors, it will not be possible to limit global warming to +1.5°C compared to the pre-industrial era, or even to +2°C.
Faced with these prospects, the IPCC evokes tracks to try to modify the trajectory.
