Why rely on African research?

First part of our African Research Matters series recorded at the symposium of the same name in St-Louis, Senegal for the launch of Global Africa: the first interdisciplinary and multilingual pan-African scientific journal.

Delighted to meet you on the Gaston Berger University campus in Saint-Louis, Senegal for the first part of our

series , named after the first interdisciplinary and multilingual pan-African scientific journal launched on March 15, 2022, in Saint-Louis.

Louis during a symposium whose title itself is already a whole program: 

How to reckon with and on African research?

To meet planetary challenges and think about our common future... A huge undertaking in relation to Africa's share in the global production of knowledge (not exceeding 2%).

Huge project opened by the most eminent researchers in the humanities and social sciences, committed throughout the continent and who question themselves without avoiding any angry subject on the art and how to finally put back the expertise, the experience and the capacities for resilience and innovation of African research on the international scientific scene.
