Cases and asymptomatic infections; 26 cases were cured and discharged, and 171 cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation.
It is reported that this is the first time since the outbreak of the Japanese round of the epidemic on March 8 that Langfang City has achieved the goal of "double clearing" positive cases detected at the isolation point and social face.
According to Li Wenlan, deputy head of the Langfang City Epidemic Prevention and Disease Control Expert Group, on April 2, the number of new cases in Langfang City dropped to "zero", and the overall situation of the epidemic continued to improve and has entered the tailing stage.
The current round of the epidemic in Langfang City covers a wide area. Five counties (cities, districts) in the city have reported confirmed cases, mainly in Geyu Township, Donggugang Township in Anci District, Yangfengang Township, Shengfang Township in Bazhou City town.
As of 24:00 on April 2, a total of 2,752 confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections had been reported in 4 townships, accounting for 81.3% of the city's total reports, showing a regional clustering distribution.
The age of the confirmed cases ranges from 10 months to 91 years old, indicating that the population is generally susceptible; the number of infected farmers is 1,782, accounting for 52.6% of the total number of reports in the city, which is in line with the characteristics of local concealment and rapid transmission in densely populated rural areas.
Zhang Chunyan, deputy head of Langfang City's New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Leading Group and deputy mayor of the municipal government, introduced that since the outbreak of the current round of the epidemic, the city has quickly established a medical treatment echelon of 2,266 people at the provincial, municipal and county levels, which has been opened in an orderly manner. There are 10 designated hospitals with 4,516 beds, including city-level designated hospitals, county-level designated hospitals, and makeshift hospitals.
Since April 2, the designated hospitals in Sanhe City, Anci District, Langfang Development Zone, and Bazhou City have resumed the normal order of social diagnosis and treatment.
Zhang Chunyan said that in the next step, Langfang City will continue to strengthen the health inspection of residents, and effectively protect the discharged people at home.
Strengthen the prevention and publicity work of the whole society, educate and guide the general public to truthfully inform the travel history and contact history in accordance with the law and regulations, and take the initiative to seek medical treatment at the fever clinic of a nearby hospital in a timely manner if suspicious symptoms appear.
