A drama took place in an apartment in Brest (Finistère) overnight from Thursday to Friday.
A 34-year-old woman allegedly shot her husband in the head after he attempted to kill himself.

, the victim had just learned that the mother of his two children had an extramarital affair.
He would have seized a rifle which he would have placed in his mouth and would have fired under the eyes of his wife.
The latter would have fired a second bullet in the head to shorten the suffering, she told investigators.
She said she was a victim of domestic violence.

They were found safe and sound.
As for the father, he was transported in absolute urgency to the Cavale Blanche hospital in Brest, where he died on Friday morning.
