Jamila Al-Zahrani (the sister of the slain Rehab) revealed that they met the culprit (the murderer of her sister) at the police station, stressing that he did not show signs of remorse after his heinous crime.
She added that she could not control herself and her feelings when she saw her sister's killer in front of her at the police station, where she began calling him "the criminal", noting that he did not respond to her, because he had no words to say after his heinous act.
She only said that the security authorities assured them that the perpetrator would file more than one case against him from all those affected in the accident, including the ex-wife of her sister (the father of the injured girl), more than five neighbors and some civil defense men, all of whom were affected by the acid burn.
And she added, according to Saudi media, that Rehab's four-year-old daughter is lying in the hospital as a result of being burned with acid, while she suffers from a bad psychological state, as "Papa killed Mama", as she was calling her stepfather "Papa".
For her part, the victim's mother recounted the details of the crime, as she said that her daughter's husband was pouring acid on the neighbors and on everyone who tried to save her daughter and granddaughter, adding that her daughter's features changed as a result of the burning, and investigations are still underway to analyze her body.
She confirmed that during the heinous crime, Rehab contacted her while she was dying to recommend her to her daughter, as she was saying, "My husband killed me and my daughter is a trust with you."
She pointed out that her daughter always said, "I don't feel safe with him," as she was dealing with his death threats with an official complaint to the security authorities.
She indicated that her daughter's husband was using drugs, and was always pressuring her to obtain a loan of 400,000 riyals for him.
She added that Rehab was working in a beauty company to spend on her daughter from her ex-divorce, who has custody of her, where she lived an unsafe life with her husband who betrayed her.
