He underwent a "change" operation in Thailand.. A court rejects a Jordanian citizen's request to change his gender from male to female!

One of the Jordanian courts decided, in an adversarial ruling subject to appeal, to reject the lawsuit filed by a Jordanian citizen, whose subject is a request to change his gender from male to female and change his name to (Burihan).

The merits of this case are summed up that the plaintiff is a Jordanian citizen and is registered in the records and records of the Civil Status and Passports Department that his gender is male, but because the plaintiff suffers from gender identity disorders and shows clear and prominent female signs, he undertook a surgical operation in Thailand to change the gender from male to a female, and upon his return to Jordan, he went to the Civil Status and Passports Department to change his gender from male to female and change his name to (Burihan). His name is to Brihan.

The court justified its decision to dismiss his case and reasoned the response by saying that it finds that the plaintiff is asking through this case to convert him from male to female and change his name as a result of the treatments and operations he performed, and by examining the court’s evidence of the case, including the report of the medical committee, it finds that the plaintiff’s masculine characteristics are dominant, and that he is thus considered Male, and therefore this report proves the validity of what is stated in the civil status records and records that the plaintiff is male, and that the plaintiff’s procedure to change the gender identity from male to female does not change the matter, and that the report of the district medical committees came to show that his chromosomes are remembrance.
