The health rules are largely lifted from this Sunday, April 3 in Germany.
Three weeks after its French neighbor, the federal state is taking roughly the same measures.
The mask is no longer compulsory indoors, except in certain cases.
As in health establishments, transport, or to go to schools and nurseries.
Access to restaurants and bars is also facilitated.
It is no longer necessary to present a health pass, or a negative test for Covid-19, to access it.
However, the authorities call for wearing the mask as much as possible.
Like its neighbours, Germany is currently experiencing a strong rebound in the epidemic.
Last week, more than 200,000 daily cases were recorded across the Rhine.
