A large Saudi crowd attends the funeral of #Rehab Al-Zahrani at the martyrs cemetery in Mecca
Today, Sunday, a large crowd participated in the funeral of Rehab Al-Zahrani, the "victim of burning acid", at the cemetery of the martyrs of the Haram in Makkah.
The victim died at the hands of her husband when acid was poured on her body in a neighborhood east of Jeddah, and her daughter was severely burned, and she is currently in intensive care.
The crowd performed the funeral prayer for the victim after the afternoon prayer in the Grand Mosque, and her body was buried in the cemetery of the martyrs of the Haram al-Shari’, amid calls for her mercy and forgiveness.
For her part, Jamila Al-Zahrani, the sister of the slain Rehab, revealed that the family had seen the offender husband at the police station, stressing that he did not show any signs of remorse after his heinous crime.
She added that she could not control herself and her feelings when she saw her sister's killer in front of her at the police station, where she called him a "criminal", noting that he did not respond to her.
