On March 31, the world's first high-efficiency supercritical gas generator set was successfully connected to the grid in Fangchenggang, Guangxi.

The unit is independently developed by China, has complete independent intellectual property rights, and a complete set of localized equipment. The operating pressure, temperature and power generation efficiency have all created a new "world record" in the field of gas power generation.

In early 2021, the world's first high-efficiency supercritical gas power station will start construction.

The power station is equipped with three 145MW (megawatt) high-efficiency supercritical gas generating units, and it is expected that the other two units will be completed and put into use in July 2022.

It is understood that the project broke ground on April 1, 2021, and with the joint efforts of all parties involved in the construction, it will enter the joint commissioning and testing at the end of February 2020.
