They are those of the members of the Kalush Orchestra group which represents Ukraine at Eurovision this year.
On its Instagram account, the troupe confirmed that it could well perform on stage.
“Yes, we can officially announce it!
The Kalush Orchestra group is going to Eurovision 2022 in Turin to play live, ”we can read.
It was envisaged, in case the group could not make the trip, that it would participate through the video of its performance for the Ukrainian national team.
Concerts to help rebuild cities
The National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine, UA:PBC, therefore authorized the group to leave the country ahead of their participation in the contest.
This Saturday, the members gathered in Lviv for the first time since the start of the Russian invasion and began preparations for their concert in Turin.
In addition, Kalush Orchestra will participate in several promotional concerts over the next few weeks and plans to raise funds to help rebuild Ukrainian cities affected by the war.
Earlier this week, the European Broadcasting Union revealed the running order for the semi-finals to be held on May 10 and 12.
In the case of Ukraine, expect to see Kalush Orchestra perform on the first night, in sixth position.
